Jetour Vehicle Collaboration with PT Handal Indonesia Motor as Assembly Partner
Indonesia can prepare for the arrival of a new vehicle brand from China in the third quarter of 2024. This brand is Jetour, which will introduce 2 models, namely the Jetour Dashing and Jetour X70P. Both are gasoline-powered SUVs, with the Dashing being a 5-passenger SUV while the X70P can accommodate 7 passengers. Yang Fan, General Manager of Jetour Indonesia, stated that they will take several serious steps to ensure the brand's growth in Indonesia. One of them is offering competitive pricing.

PT Handal Indonesia Motor Starts Assembling NETA Cars On May 2024
The electric car market in Indonesia is currently heating up with the emergence of many new brands entering the electric car industry in the country. One of them is NETA, which recently introduced itself at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Motor Show (GIIAS) 2023. In 2023, NETA Indonesia also signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Handal Indonesia Motor, one of the leading car assembly plants in Indonesia, to assemble NETA cars in Indonesia in 2024.

At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, Chery Indonesia officially introduced the most affordable unit among the Chery lineup, the Chery Tiggo 5X, a compact SUV with a 1,500 cc engine. The Chery Tiggo 5X was officially introduced in Indonesia with prices starting from Rp 269 million for the Chery Tiggo 5X Classic variant to Rp 299 million for the Chery Tiggo 5X Champion. Despite the competitive pricing, the Chery Tiggo 5X still offers various features that may not be available in its competitors.
