Chery Unveiled The Omoda E5
In December 2023, Chery Indonesia officially assembled the Chery Omoda E5 in Indonesia through CKD at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor factory. The Chery Omoda E5 is the first Chery electric car in Indonesia, based on the successful platform of the Chery Omoda 5 in the Indonesian market. After approximately 3 months, Chery officially launched the Chery Omoda E5 at a very competitive price, staying below Rp 500 million. The official selling price of the Chery Omoda E5 is Rp 498.8 million On The Road DKI Jakarta. This price includes the V2L Charger, AC Charger 7kW, and portable charger.

Chery OMODA E5 Roll Off Ceremony
December 2, 2023, marked a historic moment and a significant contribution by PT Handal Indonesia Motor to the electric car industry in Indonesia. PT Handal Indonesia Motor and Chery Indonesia held the Roll-Off Ceremony for the Chery OMODA E5 at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor facility located on Jl. H. Wahab Affan KM. 28, Pondok Ungu, Bekasi, West Java. Chery OMODA E5 will be assembled by PT Handal Indonesia Motor as the General Assembler.
